VOXBOX Studios is the Deejay training company for many mobile, clubs, pubs and event companies within the Calgary area. We train anyone from the ages of 12+ all about the music industry. 100% of the students who had a desire to work in the music industry as a DJ have found work within the music industry immediately following taking their courses at VOXBOX Studios.

VOXBOX Studios will be opening locations in Edmonton in 2008.

VOXBOX Studios currently employs 5 instructors and passes on DJ jobs to many graduates of our courses.

What type of positions do you offer?

VOXBOX Studios offers part-time and contract positions through the clubs, pubs, mobile and event companies who we supply DJ's for.

What are some entry level career opportunities that your organization offers?

Some of the companies we work with offer assistant or junior DJ positions. We also offer contract DJ opportunities on a regular basis.

What is your hiring process?

The hiring process will take place once you have completed your DJ courses.

How can I apply?

VOXBOX Studios will assist you in the application process. We are usually the ones that find out about all the companies looking for DJ's and we pass that information onto the students.

What do you look for in employees?

We look for dedication and passion. We look for a willingness and desire to succeed and to understand that learning from mistakes and not running from them is the most important part of building strong relationships within the industry.

What type of education/training/equipment do I need?

We provide the training and you do not need a min. requirement of education. You just need the passion, desire and commitment to become the best DJ possible.

How old do I have to be to work for your company?

You must be no younger than 14 years old to start working with the companies we provide DJ's for.

How much will I get paid?

The pay can vary from $75.00 per night - $250.00 per night in the DJ industry. This rate of pay is usually based on many factors including the experience you have.
