Trico Centre is your neighborhood active-living multi-functional recreational facility, offering a vast range of programs and services to meet the needs of Calgary's South Communities. Inside our facility we have a renovated 13,500 square foot fitness centre with a 3 lane running track and 2 fully equipped fitness studios, an aquatics facility including a 316 square foot indoor waterslide and wave pool centre, hot tub, sauna and steam room, and an arena, full-size gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, childcare facility, food services and seniors club centre. We provide wellness programs for all ages in a friendly, professional and clean environment.

What is your hiring process?

We post our jobs based on need (program and/or vacancy) on our website or local centres, we request resumes, intro. Letters, certifications (first aid, CPR, etc.), security clearance, references and review qualifications based on job requirements. Resumes are reviewed and those selected for interviews are contact to come down and meet with the hiring supervisors. Once a candidate is selected references are checked and an offer made.

Depends on the job - some requirements are: First Aid, CPR, Security Clearance, Fitness Instructors Certifications, Lifeguarding Certifications, Swim Instructor Certification, University or College Diploma, Dependent upon the job and role.

Minimum requirement is 16.

How much will one get paid?

Depends on the position, years of experience and education. We provide a competitive wage scale along with discounted rates on facility programs and free facility use for employees dependent on their role in the organization.
