What type of positions do you offer?
Majority of positions are seasonal with the option to stay year round. We also offer Part time positions in the winter.
What is your hiring process?
Applicants must send in a resume via email/mail/fax or in person, then we review their details and contact them for further information or to set up and in person or telephone interview. We recruit throughout the winter season and our vacant positions are posted on our website at the resort.
How can I apply?
Send in a resume and cover letter detailing which position/s you are applying for and what your availability to interview is. It is also helpful to include what your availability to potentially start and finish a seasonal job with us. You can also state on there if you require staff accommodation and anything else relevant to your application.
What do you look for in employees?
A lot of our seasonal positions are for entry-level jobs. Therefore we do not always expect specific work experience for any given position (for example a lift operator) but we do expect applicants to be willing to learn quickly and have transferable skills from previous work experience or education. Due to the nature of our business, most of our employees are passionate about the outdoors and enjoy all the perks' working on a ski hill has to offer!
What type of education/training/equipment do I need?
See above. Warm clothes and a good pair of winter boots are essential for working and living in Lake Louise.
How much will I get paid?
The starting salary for most entry level positions is $8.40 per hour. Along with our other benefits, our fulltime staff also get the opportunity to live in our subsidized staff accommodation at Lake Louise (between $7.25 and $10.00 per person, per night depending on what kind of room)
