Title: Airport Security Pre Board Screener - Calgary International Airport
Job Description: Responsibilities include the following and other assigned duties;
- Perform security checks of passengers and luggage using X-ray and metal detection devices
- Meet and greet passengers in a friendly, firm, and fair manner
- Enforce regulations of establishments, resolve conflict situations, write reports
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Canada for a minimum of 5 years
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18 yrs +
- Obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance
- Candidates must be available to work during days, evenings, nights, including weekends
- Candidates must have strong clear command for the English language (both written and spoken)
- Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to manage stress efficiently
Other:
- Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
- Experience in the security field an asset
- Criminal record check (Abstract)
- Basic Medical exam
Terms of Employment:
- This is a permanent full time position
- Shift work
- $ 5000.00 retention bonus after one year of service
