Do you have locations other than Calgary?

Cintas operates 351 facilities in the U.S. and Canada, including 14 manufacturing plants and seven distribution centers that employ more than 30,000 people. We run business in 16 locations in Canada, which have hired over 1700 employees.

How many people do you employ?

We employ over 150 full time partners just in Calgary and Edmonton!

What is your hiring process?

Candidates are encouraged to go visit the Cintas web site first to check out current opportunities at a specific location that they are interested, i.e.: Calgary, AB, or Kelowna, BC, etc. After they fill in an on-line application form, a Cintas hiring manager will review their candidacy and schedule an interview with them. The interview process may include: a screening interview over the phone, an in-depth interview, a plant tour or route trail, etc. Successful candidates will be presented with an offer that includes a benefits package.

Do I need a resume to apply to your company or can I apply online?

All candidates must fill out an online application form. However, candidates can choose to fill out the basic online application form and attach their resume and cover letter in a word file. Cintas hiring mangers will follow up quickly once they receive the application.

What do you look for in employees?

High moral standards, integrity, honesty, mutual trust, teamwork, and professionalism are the key characteristics that Cintas is looking for. We are also looking to create a long-term relationship and grow with every partner together.

What type of schooling do I need?

This depends on the position of the job. For example, a university degree is the minimum requirement for a Sales position; other entry level service jobs only require a high school diploma.

Do I have to be 18 to work for your company?

Yes. However, Cintas is willing to look at assisting students with work experience opportunities.

How much will I get paid?

This depends on the job position, previous experience individuals may possess as well as market competition. Different jobs at Cintas have different pay structures.

What kind of skills do I need?

This also depends on the particular job position and its requirements. Essential skills for all positions include strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
