What type of positions do you offer?

We start workers fulltime. If you are a good worker and need part time hours because of school that can usually be worked out. Summer opportunities are also available.

How can I apply?

To apply we have candidates come to our office where they fill out applications, take a WHMIS test and are interviewed. People can contact us by phone or email or fax their resume.

What do you look for in employees?

Construction or general labour experience and/or someone who wants to work hard.

What type of education/training/equipment do I need?

We provide a two-day, $350 training course called "Occupational Health and Safety for the Asbestos Abatement Worker". Aurora pays for it initially, but will need to be reimbursed by the employee over time. Upon completion of the course and passing of the exam the employee receives a ticket that is good for 3 years. This ticket is mandatory to remove asbestos. The course teaches the employees about the protective equipment that is mandatory for use and is provided by the client. This equipment includes respiratory face masks, tyvex suites and steel toed rubber boots. The employee is required to have their own steel toed boots, 6 - 8 inches high. It is a great asset for the candidates to have demolition experience and have the following tickets: First Aid, CSTS, Confined Space, H2S, Fall Protection and WHMIS.

$ 12.00 - 14.00/ hr
