The Aboriginal Youth Network is foremost an online resource created by youth for youth. We are accountable to youth through our youth advisory committee which meets in person twice yearly and twice again via teleconference. The committee is consulted on an ongoing basis, informally using various electronic media.

A new brand of Engineer. Generation-E is a campaign and web site created for Canadian secondary students considering their career options. It aims to show them just how exciting and rewarding a career in engineering can be, and to reveal what it really takes to be an engineer -- more than good science grades.

The manual was developed by the Career Services Department of the University of Waterloo. There is lots of well organized information pertaining to every aspect of job search and career pathing including self assessment, occupational research, decision making, work, and career planning information.

Service Canada Centre for Youth
A Human Resources Development Canada sponsored site. Provides free employment services in both languages to students from May 1 to mid-August. Hire a Student offers free job postings and a Casual Labour Program for temporary and short-term jobs. Staff there are students themselves and provide resumé, interview, and individual job search help. A Student Business Centre is also available for youth who want to start their own business.

Monster Career Resources
Lots of recently posted continually updated jobs are available from around the world, (including Canada). Also there are links to career/personality/workstyle assessment sites. The real strength of this site seems to be the fully searchable database of articles pertaining to every aspect of job search, resumes, interviews, getting ahead and staying ahead.
