Federal Public Sector Youth Internship Program
Ages 15-30
Sponsored by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and delivered in partnership with the YMCA, the Federal Public Sector Youth Internship Program places interns in host federal government Departments, Agencies and Crown Corporations for 9 month terms. Its main objective is to enable unemployed or under-employed young Canadians to acquire the experience and skills they need to enter and fully participate in the labour market.
Science Horizon Youth Internship Program (Environment Canada)
A collaborative effort with Canadian universities, the private sector and provinces and territories that offers promising young scientists and post-secondary graduates hands-on experience working on environmental projects under the mentorship and coaching of experienced scientists and program managers.
